Moringa
Seed Oil as Per BP Grade (British Pharmacopoeia)
Moringa seed oil is derived from the seeds of Moringa
Oleifera, a fast-growing, drought-resistant tree from the Moringaceae
family. Commonly known as the Drumstick tree, Ben tree, Horseradish tree, or
Benzolive tree, it is widely cultivated in India (native to the Himalayan
foothills), as well as in Kenya, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Malawi, Bangladesh, and
various regions of Africa. The tree reaches a height of 10–12 metres, with
open, drooping, and fragile branches. Its fragrant, hermaphroditic flowers
begin to bloom within six months of planting.
